Finally..another year is going to end…

It feels like a real rocket for me this year. Probably because of the many milestones that I have passed thru.

Beginning from the start of the semester with the New Tune Live Performance on Jan 22nd..It ended with thousands of audiences..featuring my own very first song - After two days. It was a bold try and i am thankful for those who gave me the chance to share my new song. And not to forget the chance to be aired on FM988. It was a really great experience.

NEXT…

Well…due to the jam-packed practice schedules..i had to catch up a lot in my coursework after the performance ended..not to mention after i enjoyed the one-week CNY break ( a lot of ang-pows!!) The schedule was really tight as I had to finish all my studies, settle final exam, all the final projects and also the oh-so-headache thesis writing…

In the midst of these..I also went modelling…

hehehe…modelled for Clipso’s Hair Show it was quite fun la…just that i wasnt given enough time to lose weight…anyway…the make-up was too heavy that nobody managed to recognize me…except those who stand right in front of the stage and screamed my name…and made me curi-curi smile on stage la…hmm…no thanks to shun wei :p

That’s just a small bridge before taking me to my last part of work in UKM…Hmm..i did a research on vmware which turned out to be a very impressive research for my examiner.. hahaha…basically they are not really aware of the usage of this virtual machine thingy..hehe..glad i took uncle KT’s advise to do this project!

THEN…

(cant believe i’m spending my Friday night at home updating my blog…hmm…the night view tonight is nice..today 29th dec is the last working day of the year…)

THEN…

it was only 1 month, 4 interviews, before i get this job in DCMY. The first time i step into the office i had absolutely no idea what this company is doing…probably IT stuff as the name has "Data" in it..well..i went anyway. Nice place, convenient transportation, beautiful receptionist (that time was Haidar)…i quite like the HR’s voice who called me up for the interview as well (Karen).

After filling up forms and stuff, i was led to a long room (Ferrari) and sitting alone there waiting for the manager to come. The first to interview me was Radha. Well, erm..ok. Done. Then she called up another manager and he said he’s on his way back. Then this short guy came in…which happened to be the Sales Director and that i will be reporting to him and be his PA as well..hmmm..not knowing what "Sales Administrator" is supposed to do, the 1st Q that i posted to him was:"Do i have to do sales?"…hahaha…then they said no…they warned me about working in a team where 90% are guys and asked me whether i can handle it, chasing them for things to be done and stuff like that…i said i will try my best. Then this guy, (which is now my boss) said something that makes me remember him so much:"Trying your best is not enough, if you try your best and you fail your exam, you still fail! you have to try not only your best but also to pass!"…hmm..interesting! i believe i will have much to learn here. And so, i got the job. On the spot. phew…it was pretty scary..i dont really know whether this is the right choice.

Aha…the Sibu Mission trip. There’s a post that i wrote which tells more about the trip. It was a great experience not to mention the luxurious food…some weird stuff also la..I guess Alex should go to Sibu as they sell pork openly, they love pork like nobody’s business man…The ministry to the long houses were nice and especially those in the kid’s tuition centre and the children Sunday School. They ended up calling the 3 of us Leng Lui (haha..that’s the first word that i taught the children…) Thanks to Ps Benny, Ps Delly and family and also those who welcomed us and always bless us abundantly. I gained weight!! again…

AFTER THAT…

I had my convocation! Finally after 3 years, i graduated! check out my photos in the albums la…I had 5 stalk of flowers with my fav Forget-me-not le…My proud parents were in the hall witnessing. Luv ya Mmy & Dee, all your love and support has made me who i am today. Thanks.

LATER…

I am back to the work, work, work routined life…Begin to realize that everyone is asking me to get a bf…every conversation that i crack with colleagues, friends, ex-schoolmates, cousins, even pastors…they’re teasing me about things like that…Guys…i know you all care for me…well, i’m not really in a hurry and i believe the right guy will come when the right time arrives. rushing is not a good idea at all..and since i’m not like those aggressive ppl…just let it be la..God knows my prayers..that’s enough…

YEAR END…

A lot of programs le…Dec is really a packed month..Starting with our Team Building in PD. Aiyo…those guys really laughed my head off lar…The session was great thanks to Shanie for the games and ideas. I guessed everyone had fun thru the relaxing trip. 

Then we had our annual dinner where my hair was messed up cos of the theme "Crazy Hair Nite"..Ish…but it was a great nite with all the weird show on stage and funny looks where you couldnt see during normal days..haha..

The next day i had to actually rush down to PD for ESPlosion V 2006. We had a great 4 days 3 nights camp in the relaxing Bayu Beach..just that the first day was too tiring for me as the previous day i only get to sleep 1 hour. But the whole session was very encouraging, especially the 3rd night.It’s been a long time i haven’t cried like that before and the cleansing of the spirit for that night was really great. The tears had reminded me of His love once again. His grace and mercy to me once again.Thank you Father…

Guess this will make an end..It’s 1.35 am now, 29/12/2006. The night is quiet…seldom be awake at Friday nite this hour..with nothing to do earlier..Alone but not Lonely..hmm..how i wished to drive alone like that day..and listening to Emi Fujita - Leaving on a Jetplane..

GOOD BYE 2006…It has been a fruitful and meaningful year for me. Yeah…i’m still going thru the new year without a partner…let it be lah…There’s more to life that that. Blessings to all my friends for the new year to come. Happy 2007! It will be a good year ahead…
