11th March was the opening service for Gospel ESPlosion Presbyterian Church in Cheras! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! His blessing upon this church is indeed awesome! And here we are, rest assured that He is in this exciting movement in building a kingdom of God which glorifies His name alone!
This will be an exciting place for youths to be able to come to know this loving God. We are not out there to steal other people’s sheep or to lure people to abandon their home church to serve here. But for those of you who have the calling, and you want to be part of this church planting and equipping movement, and you are in KL…this church is for YOU!! we are looking forward in advancing in God’s kingdom thru church planting. Training and equipping young people to be leaders and to catch the fire and vision of God, so that they will be able to bless their local church and the other ESP churches! this is indeed an exciting journey with the Lord as we march on by faith and prayers!
oh…i cant tell you how excited i am. Even for myself, i want to learn and grow more, to prepare myself for His calling to serve Him full-time. I give thanks to the Lord for His plans are wonderful. And though we face trials and struggles but He’s the one who will be seeing us thru. I love you and i need you so much dear Lord…
Besides church i’m currently busy with final year projects, thesis and studies. Going to finish my degree in UKM in May. Another journey in working life to be started soon.
Phew…time really flies! Its not that i’m going to leave forever or what…but i really do miss and will my UKM pals. My lovely housemates who never fail to be there for me ~ my roommate LY who always laugh on her own when watching taiwanese entertainment show, MW who loves to cook and sometimes will offer me some, YE who’s a very good host when i visited Melaka, and the president of PBSM (Persatuan BalikRumah Setiap Minggu), LC the devil…haha…she’s the cutest devil we ever had, MY the skinny girl who’s a very creative and thoughtful person (stop telling me that you gained weight ok!!), and last but not least, oh how can i forget her…CW who’s always the one to be crazy with me, we laugh, we scream, we sleep together, going to taiping, find our way thru KL even though we r not sure of the roads…Also remembering my 1st year kolej mates SY, Cyn, ex-roommate SL, and the funny and will always be the joker - Iguana. Girls, you are the best!!
My friendly coursemates. A big hug to my dear all-time-fren-and-coursemate ~ SS. I couldnt remember how we got along and became close friends. But those 1st year freshness, 2nd Year craziness and 3rd year towards-maturity experience is one that i will never forget. Thanks for always bearing with my weaknesses. I’m really glad that we can have this friendship. Also to CH, the 1st guy that i know in class. Cos he’s the most 38 person and became our class representative, so everybody also know him..hehe…hehe..who ask u to drive motor with the number plate 38? hehe…thanks for helping me do "some" homework and many other things. Also to CK, i really appreciate the friendship that we had, remember when the 4 of us always stick together during our 2nd year. Thinking back i really feel old d…To my brothers, YC, FC, i always remember during our 1st year, we are all silly silly and "gong gong". Also to daddy TF, who’s always a MR.Nice Guy. Thank you for your phone calls and advice when i’m down, and thanks for always coming to my house to fix CW’s PC…LOL!!! Please, please remember to keep in touch everyone!!!
Newtune, a place that i’ve found my musical self in UKM, couldnt imagine how will my last 2 years be without these bunch of funny people. Funny yet musically talented! I couldnt mention everyone here but there is indeed ppl who’ve certainly play an important role for who i am in newtune today. Jun Hwa, my friend, its you who have brought me into this big family. i’m glad that we can share many things together, and hopefully after we grad we’ll stil keep in touch always! Jian Lee, i always refer him as a gentle giant - gentle yet gigantic! hehe…sorry man…thanks for letting Liang Tian Yi Hou be on stage. and the wonderful opportunity for me to perform on DECTAR. Andrew, though we only got closer after he left to UK. you’ve been a great blessing and inspiration to me, and also thanks for all the advices in helping my song. My children, Thum (thanks for the lyrics and encouragement to compose!), SzeYee, ChiaYee, YongZhen, AhChew and all the other juniors, MrYen, Hamster, HuiMin, ShunWei, WeiJya, Kellyn, Erfen, VHann, GuoHao, XiQiang, YiuFai, Small Beng….and so many more…all of you have made a part for all the memories and joy that i have in Newtune, regardless of your name is mentioned or not. Also to some same-batch-but-my-new-tune-seniors, Alex, Choy, PohSuan, SeaHong…i only know the few of you more..thanks for accepting my participance even though i joined only half way thru. Also to some graduated-seniors Zllen, Sean, David, GoldenLight, AhMoon…you guys really gave me headaches during NTLP 8. And always making fun of me…hmm…but thanks still, for all the advices and fun! For all newtune members, I love you all!!
Haha…sounds like i’m getting graduate soon and cant wait to leave all hugs and kisses around, yet…………My Thesis is stil unfinished! oh…argh…i better get going….
