His beloved daughter..

Valentine’s…a very romantic day of celebration especially for couples. Do you know the real meaning of valentine’s day? it is a day to remember St. Valentine, a man who died because of love. a man who loved "love"…so in other words, valentine’s day is actually a day to remember the death of st.valentine…hehe..

Hey this is not a joke ok…its the truth lar. many people in the world treat their couple extra romantic when it comes to valentine’s day, anniversarries, birthdays…however i’ve also come across couples who do not celebrate valentine’s day, not because they are afraid of the crowd or unwilling to spend money. because to them everyday is valentine’s day, that they should love their partner, and showing love to their partner everyday.

The expressions of love, including patience, kindness, consideration, forgiving, no jealousy, no envy, not selfish…is expressed to people around us in our daily life. It is always easy to love people whom we love, our family, our spouse, our friends…but when it comes to loving the unlovable ones, now this is the challenge. I often felt a struggle within me when God placed unlovable people in my life. sometimes i wish i hadnt know them, sometimes i wish when they are talking to me someone will just come into the picture and take over my place, sometimes i even try to avoid these people. Yet, this is what our loving Father says, "If you cannot love your brother, whom you can see, how could you love me, whom you cannot see?" Bear in mind that "brother" doesnt mean only our brother (sisters are included…). Brother related to all beside us. people whom we know, whom we love, whom we don’t know and also whom we don’t "feel" like loving!

How could i ever have the strength and patience when dealing with unlovable people? It is because God so loved the world, that when we are sinners, He gave His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of you and me. He died for you  even when you don’t know him, even when you reject him. We learn how to love people today, because God Himself id loving, he created love and He himself is a model of love. Sometimes i really felt ashamed for i have not loved enough. at times i still feel hard to love people who are unlovable. I pray that even now as you read this, we will be able to reflect on ourselves…have we not love like how He loved us? if you have yet to know His love, i pray for you my friend, that you will be able to experience His love personally.
